According to the Visa-Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Asia Pacific Travel Intentions Survey 2010, Malaysian travellers are likely to spend more on food and dining experiences during their leisure trips overseas.

When asked what they were most willing to pay extra for during their next overseas holiday, food was rated the highest with 77 per cent of respondents saying they were most likely to spend on good food and dining experiences.

Also on the list of top spending priorities were the opportunity to experience other cultures (62 per cent), visiting exotic destinations (58 per cent), convenience or hassle free services (55 per cent) and holiday or travel adventures (52 per cent).
