THE EDITOR IS BACK

MTF would like to welcome back our Editor who has been away on a sabbatical in several countries in the Asia Pacific region, mainly Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, China and Japan to speak to NGO leaders and the man on the street about what they think of the way the industry is heading.

Most of them think that with or without tourism promotion by NTOs there will be a continuous need to keep traveling to other countries and the national government must ensure that there will be easy access to major cities with minimum fuss at CIQ check points.

NTOs  should however continue to provide tourism information which is fast and accurate, providing true picture of their tourism attributes and have them uploaded on the internet.

The success of this blog does not however depend on the contents provided by the Editor, rather it relies mainly on readers' commentaries and opinion about certain issues that will help promote a destination and solve the many tourism issues that will likely surface anytime.
